In most other respects, the Sole E55 and Sole E25 Elliptical Trainers offer the same high features that you would expect from a quality brand.
Both the Sole E55 and E25 utilize a front-drive system with a heavy-duty 20 lb flywheel, high gear ratio and ECB magnetic resistance that together combine to provide a whisper-quiet, smooth and fluid elliptical motion, operating in both forward and reverse motion, with a maximum 20” stride length.
Unique to Sole, both the Sole E55 and E25 elliptical machines feature a Power Adjustable Incline with 1-20 levels. Adjustable incline is typically found on treadmills not elliptical trainers and helps to work muscle groups in the lower body, providing additional resistance for a more effective workout. Both the incline and resistance can be easily adjusted via the console or via Quick Keys built into the moving handlebars.
The Sole E55 and E25 Elliptical Trainers both offer 10 workout programs for variety, including 6 standard, 2 custom and 2 heart-rate. Your heart-rate is measured via either the built-in pulse grip sensors in the static handlebars or via a compatible heart-rate chest strap (included). The console itself is angle-adjustable to give the best viewing angle for different user heights.
Your workout stats are displayed on the backlit LCD screen to help keep you motivated, including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart rate. Both the Sole E55 and E25 feature Bluetooth Technology so you can transfer your data to your own smart device to track your fitness data. Sole provide their own free app or alternatively you can use Fitbit, Record, Mapmyrun or Apple Health.
Both the Sole E55 and E25 include built-in speakers with MP3/iPod compatibility, cooling fan and water bottle holder.
The new 2019+ models of the Sole E55 and E25 now include an integrated tablet holder located at the top of the console, a USB charging port and Bluetooth audio speakers.

Ergonomically designed, the Sole E55 and E25 Elliptical Trainers feature 15” foot pedals designed with a 2 degree inward cant to help reduce stress on knees and ankles that can be associated with other types of elliptical machines. With the Sole E55 you can also adjust the angle of the pedal via a simple dial to help reduce numb toe effect and sore Achilles tendons. Both machines are designed with 4 rear wheels on heavy-duty rails to help prevent side-to-side pedal motion for a more stable ride.
