Offering a very effective workout in the comfort of your own home at an affordable price, the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-E3911 Cardio Climber operates very smoothly and quietly with a fluid climbing motion of up/down together with a slight forward/backward glide which helps to avoid excess pressure on your knees and lower back while still feeling the burn on your legs, thighs and hips!

Schwinn 411 versus Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer Machine, Comparison Review

Keep fit in the comfort of your own home with the total-body low-impact Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer Machines.

The Schwinn 411 is the newest edition to the Schwinn elliptical trainer range, featuring a more streamlined and compact design to fit into smaller spaces in your home.  Being the newest edition, the Schwinn 411 offers the addition of Bluetooth connectivity to sync the elliptical machine with the RunSocial App – a feature the older Schwinn 430 does not have.  The RunSocial App offers an exciting way of training with 19 locations and 17 routes and you can ride alongside your friends while tracking your pace and distance.

However, the larger Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer has different advantages over the Schwinn 411 such as a longer stride length (20” precision-path compared to the Schwinn 411’s 18” stride length), more programs (22 versus 13) and more resistance levels (20 versus 16), plus a manual incline range (up to 10 degrees) which the Schwinn 411 does not have.

Both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer’s drive-train utilizes a high-speed, high-inertia perimeter-weighted flywheel and ECB magnetic resistance which combine to provide super smooth and quiet operation.

Both elliptical machines are ergonomically designed and feature dual-action handlebars – fixed and moving – so you can choose to hold onto the moving handlebars to work your upper body in unison with your lower body or hold onto the static handlebars to just work your lower body.

The Schwinn 411’s console has been streamlined for ease of use, but lacks some of the extra features of the Schwinn 430 such as a cooling fan, audio speakers and USB charging port.  As previously mentioned, the Schwinn 411 does have Bluetooth connectivity which the Schwinn 430 does not have.

Both elliptical trainers track and display motivating workout stats as you exercise including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart-rate.  However the display screen differs between the two elliptical machines, with the Schwinn 411 having one 5.5” LCD screen while the Schwinn 430 has two LCD screens measuring 5” x 3” and 5” x 1”.

To help you stay within your target heart-rate zone as you exercise, both elliptical machines offer heart-rate monitoring but the Schwinn 430 only offers contact-pulse-grip heart-rate monitoring whereas the Schwinn 411 Elliptical Trainer offers both contact-pulse-grip and telemetry for more accurate heart-rate monitoring.

The consoles on both elliptical machines feature a media rack to place your mobile phone or tablet to keep entertained as you exercise.  Both machines also feature a handy water bottle holder so you can keep hydrated as you workout.

Both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers are sturdily built and feature adjustable stabilizers for leveling on uneven floor surfaces.  If you look closely at the pictures, you'll see that the Schwinn 430, being the larger of the machines, has the addition of a middle floor support whereas the Schwinn 411 just has the back and front supports.

Both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers allow for a high user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs.

Being a more compact design, the Schwinn 411 has a smaller footprint than the Schwinn 430 with the 411 measuring around just 43” long (53.8” long with handles & footplates extended) by 24” wide by 62.5” high, whereas the larger Schwinn 430 measures approximately 70.1” long by 28.2” wide by 63.2” high.

Being the larger elliptical, the Schwinn 430 machine itself also weighs quite a lot more than the Schwinn 411 with the Schwinn 430 weighing around 180 lbs compared to around 100 lbs of the Schwinn 411.  Both machines feature integrated transport wheels for easy relocation.

For peace of mind, both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers come with a generous manufacturer’s warranty of 10 years on frame, 2 years on mechanical parts, 1 year on electronics, and 90 days labor.

Designed for home use, the Schwinn A40 and Schwinn 411 Elliptical Trainers have a nice compact footprint to save on space yet don’t compromise on quality. They are both sturdily and durably constructed and operate super smoothly and quietly thanks to their fully shrouded high-speed high-inertia perimeter-weighted flywheel and magnetic resistance systems. And both elliptical trainers offer a nice variety of programs and resistance levels to keep your workouts motivating and challenging.

The Schwinn 411 is the newest edition to the Schwinn elliptical trainer range and is the updated model of the Schwinn A40.  Despite their compact size, the Schwinn A40 and 411 still offer a generous stride length, with the Schwinn 411 having an 18” stride length and the Schwinn A40 having a 17.5” stride length – just 2” or 2.5” shorter than the 20” stride length found on the larger and more expensive Schwinn 430 and 470 elliptical trainers.

Being the newer model, the Schwinn 411’s overall design has been updated and it has an upgraded console with more programs and resistance levels compared to the older Schwinn A40 elliptical trainer.  The Schwinn 411 offers 13 workout programs and 16 levels of ECB magnetic resistance compared to the Schwinn A40’s 7 programs and 8 magnetic resistance levels.

Both consoles feature a handy media shelf to place a mobile phone/tablet to keep entertained as you exercise.  The older Schwinn A40 has the addition of audio speakers which the newer Schwinn 411 does not have.

Both the Schwinn A40 and 411 Elliptical Trainers offer contact pulse grip heart-rate monitoring but the Schwinn 411 has the addition of telemetry heart-rate monitoring for more accuracy.

Both the Schwinn A40 and 411 Elliptical Trainers are ergonomically designed for user comfort, featuring dual (static and moving handlebars) and articulating footplates with precision-path foot motion technology, along with a non-slip design.

Additional features found on both the Schwinn A40 and Schwinn 411 Elliptical Trainers include a water bottle holder, adjustable stabilizers for leveling on uneven floors, and front-mounted transport wheels for easy relocation.

Both elliptical machines have a compact footprint with the newer Schwinn 411 being slightly shorter in length than the A40.  The Schwinn 411’s dimensions measure approximately 53.8” long (with handles and footplates extended) by 24” wide by 62.5” high.  The Schwinn A40’s dimensions measure approximately 59” long by 23” wide x 64” high.

Both elliptical trainers are sturdily constructed, with the Schwinn 411 weighing around 100 lbs and the Schwinn A40 weighing around 105 lbs.  The Schwinn 411 supports a higher user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs compared to the Schwinn A40’s maximum 275 lbs user weight capacity.

As you would expect, the newer Schwinn 411 Elliptical Trainer comes with a much better warranty compared to the older Schwinn A40.  The Schwinn A40’s warranty offers 2 years on the frame and 6 months on parts and electronics, whereas the Schwinn 411’s warranty offers 10 years on the frame, 2 years on mechanical parts, 1 year on electronics and 90 days labor.
