Keep fit in the comfort of your own home with the total-body low-impact Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer Machines.

The Schwinn 411 is the newest edition to the Schwinn elliptical trainer range, featuring a more streamlined and compact design to fit into smaller spaces in your home.  Being the newest edition, the Schwinn 411 offers the addition of Bluetooth connectivity to sync the elliptical machine with the RunSocial App – a feature the older Schwinn 430 does not have.  The RunSocial App offers an exciting way of training with 19 locations and 17 routes and you can ride alongside your friends while tracking your pace and distance.

However, the larger Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer has different advantages over the Schwinn 411 such as a longer stride length (20” precision-path compared to the Schwinn 411’s 18” stride length), more programs (22 versus 13) and more resistance levels (20 versus 16), plus a manual incline range (up to 10 degrees) which the Schwinn 411 does not have.

Both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer’s drive-train utilizes a high-speed, high-inertia perimeter-weighted flywheel and ECB magnetic resistance which combine to provide super smooth and quiet operation.

Both elliptical machines are ergonomically designed and feature dual-action handlebars – fixed and moving – so you can choose to hold onto the moving handlebars to work your upper body in unison with your lower body or hold onto the static handlebars to just work your lower body.

The Schwinn 411’s console has been streamlined for ease of use, but lacks some of the extra features of the Schwinn 430 such as a cooling fan, audio speakers and USB charging port.  As previously mentioned, the Schwinn 411 does have Bluetooth connectivity which the Schwinn 430 does not have.

Both elliptical trainers track and display motivating workout stats as you exercise including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart-rate.  However the display screen differs between the two elliptical machines, with the Schwinn 411 having one 5.5” LCD screen while the Schwinn 430 has two LCD screens measuring 5” x 3” and 5” x 1”.

To help you stay within your target heart-rate zone as you exercise, both elliptical machines offer heart-rate monitoring but the Schwinn 430 only offers contact-pulse-grip heart-rate monitoring whereas the Schwinn 411 Elliptical Trainer offers both contact-pulse-grip and telemetry for more accurate heart-rate monitoring.

The consoles on both elliptical machines feature a media rack to place your mobile phone or tablet to keep entertained as you exercise.  Both machines also feature a handy water bottle holder so you can keep hydrated as you workout.

Both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers are sturdily built and feature adjustable stabilizers for leveling on uneven floor surfaces.  If you look closely at the pictures, you'll see that the Schwinn 430, being the larger of the machines, has the addition of a middle floor support whereas the Schwinn 411 just has the back and front supports.

Both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers allow for a high user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs.

Being a more compact design, the Schwinn 411 has a smaller footprint than the Schwinn 430 with the 411 measuring around just 43” long (53.8” long with handles & footplates extended) by 24” wide by 62.5” high, whereas the larger Schwinn 430 measures approximately 70.1” long by 28.2” wide by 63.2” high.

Being the larger elliptical, the Schwinn 430 machine itself also weighs quite a lot more than the Schwinn 411 with the Schwinn 430 weighing around 180 lbs compared to around 100 lbs of the Schwinn 411.  Both machines feature integrated transport wheels for easy relocation.

For peace of mind, both the Schwinn 411 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers come with a generous manufacturer’s warranty of 10 years on frame, 2 years on mechanical parts, 1 year on electronics, and 90 days labor.

Brought to you by the iconic American Schwinn brand, the Schwinn 470 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Machines are sturdily built with high-end features and an ergonomic design for user comfort.

So what’s the difference between the Schwinn 470 and 430?  Both elliptical machines offer lots of variety in resistance levels and programs, but the Schwinn 470 is the top-of-the-line model with more workout programs (29 compared to 22) and more resistance levels (25 compared to 20).

To keep your workouts interesting, both elliptical machines offer a great range of program variety including preset profile and heart-rate programs along with a Quick Start function with which you can just get on and go!  There's also fitness test options and the ability to customize your own workout programs (4 custom programs on the Schwinn 470 and 2 on the Schwinn 430).

Both the Schwinn 470 and Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainers feature a 10 degree incline range, but the Schwinn 470’s ramp is motorized (simply adjust the incline degree with a simple touch of a button) whereas the Schwinn 430’s ramp has to be manually adjusted.

Both the Schwinn 470 and Schwinn 430’s console features a 2-window LCD display but the Schwinn 470 has a blue backlit screen that's easier on the eyes compared to the Schwinn 430's grey/black screen.

Both elliptical machines track and display motivating workout data as you exercise including stats for time, distance, speed, intensity, RPM, pulse heart-rate, calories burned, % complete and goal achievement.

The Schwinn 470 also offers Bluetooth connectivity which the Schwinn 430 does not have.  The Bluetooth connectivity of the Schwinn 470 allows you to sync with the Schwinn Trainer App and other apps for online fitness tracking.

The Schwinn 470 Elliptical Trainer is also now compatible with the "Explore the World" App (subscription required) which offers a variety of courses of different lengths from around the globe.  You can move at your own pace as the App automatically adjusts to your speed.  This App also tracks your workout data and you can share your results and sync your data with other online fitness apps like MapMyRun.  The Schwinn 430 is not compatible with the "Explore the World" App.

Both elliptical trainers incorporate contact pulse-heart-rate grips in the handlebars, but the Schwinn 470 is also telemetric enabled for more accurate heart-rate monitoring which is a feature the Schwinn 430 doesn’t have.

Both elliptical trainers offer multiple user set-up (user profiles) - ideal if there's more than 1 person in your household who wants to use the elliptical machine on a regular basis and keep track of their individual workout stats.  The Schwinn 470 allows for an extra 2 user profiles over the Schwinn 430 - 4 user profiles on the 470 compared to 2 on the 430.

Additional premium features on both the Schwinn 470 and 430 include 20” precision path stride,  high speed high-inertia perimeter weighted flywheel, large articulating footplates with cushioning, 3-speed fan, acoustic chamber sound system with MP3 input, USB charging port, media tray, and water bottle holder.
